General Requirements for Participationn in the USSSA Fastpitch Program
1. Any team playing in a USSSA sanctioned tournament must be properly registered with USSSA. The annual team registration fee is $30 when paid by credit card online at www.usssa.com or $25 when paid by check and submitted at OHIO USSSA, 5864 SWEETGUM DR, MONCLOVA, OH 43542
2. Team rosters must be entered online at www.usssa.com. Once that's completed, the manager should print the roster and have all players and parents sign it.
3. When participating in any USSSA sanctioned tournament all teams must carry with them their USSSA team registration number, copies of their signed roster, birth certificates, and proof of adequate insurance. Any or all of these items must be available for immediate inspection upon request by tournament director.
4. Teams must have proof of adequate insurance. The insurance need not be issured through USSSA, but must provide at least one million in liability coverage. Go to www.usssa.com to compare team rates and purchase insurance.
